ドルフィンイングリッシュのDVDやCDで大活躍のジャックス先生（ジャッキリー先生のニックネーム）がこの6月にママになりました！
日本人と結婚して日本に住んでいる彼女ですが、「お産はやはりアメリカで」と故郷ワシントン州シアトルで男の子と女の子の2卵性双子の赤ちゃんを出産しました。
男の赤ちゃんの名前はフランシス、女の子の方はアナというそうです。
日本に戻ってからさっそく手紙をくれましたので、DOLPHINS ENGLISHのホームページの記事を毎回楽しみにしてくださっている皆さんと、彼女の喜びを分かち合いたいと思います。
これで、DOLPHINS ENGLISHの教材、「トレジャーハント」の制作に携わってくれているラッセル先生とジャックス先生、二人とも、将来日本語と英語を話すバイリンガルキッズの親となったわけですね。

今回は忙しい合間をぬっての短い手紙ですが、子どもたちが話すようになると、きっとまたラッセル先生のようなバイリンガルキッズの子育ての様子がきけることでしょう！

日本に戻ってきました！
そして双子の赤ちゃんとクレージーに忙しい毎日を送っています。
今、二人はお昼寝をしているので、やっとほんの一分ほど、自分の時間が取れるっていう感じです。
日本に帰ってきたときは、私の母が一緒に来て、数週間は日本にいてくれたんだけど、今は私1人で赤ちゃんの世話をしなくてはならないから。

赤ちゃん誕生のお知らせをずっと前に書いたのに、出す暇もなかったの。
アメリカでも、赤ちゃんの世話だけじゃなくて、荷造りや子どもたちを連れて日本に移動する準備やなんかとっても忙しかったの。
信じられないかもしれないけど、スーツケースや箱を全部で14個も飛行機に積みこんだのよ！

同封の写真を久美子先生*にも見せてね。
ほんとに美しい自慢の私の赤ちゃんたち！
二人のこと、とっても愛してるわ。
大急ぎでベビーベッドのアナの写真をプリントアウトして送ります。それから、フランシスの写真もね。
彼の目の色は今はヘーゼルだけど、生まれたときはブルーだったのよ！

お二人とも全て順調にいくように願っています。
アナとフランシスに早く会ってもらいたいわ！その計画をたてるのも楽しみ！（家から出られることなら何でもいいのかも。）

The lady who has been starring in the Happy Dolphin’s DVDs and CDs became a Mommy this June.
Her name is JackiLee Bomersheim-Ishimura and she is married to a Japanese man.
She returned to Seattle, WA during her maternity leave and gave birth to fraternal twins, a girl and a boy.
Her baby boy’s name is Francis, and her baby girl’s name is Anna.
They’re now back in Japan.
Kumiko Takahashi, Series Consultant and Kazue Imori, Curriculum Coordinator at Happy Dolphins have just received a letter from her.
We wanted to share her letter and some photos with those who visit our website.
Both Russell and JackiLee now have bi-cultural children who will be speaking English and Japanese.

I’m back in Japan and I’ve been crazy busy with my two babies.
They are taking a nap now and I finally have a minute to myself.
My mom came to Japan with me and helped for a few weeks − now I’m on my own.
I made a birth announcement for you a long time ago and it never got sent. I was extremely busy in America, not only with the babies, but with packing and preparing to move us all back to Japan.
Believe it or not, I took 14 suitcases and boxes with me on the airplane!

I am so proud of my beautiful babies!
I love them so much!
I sent a picture of her in her crib, 2 pictures are of us here in Japan − out walking and another just of Francis− with his hazel eyes. (They used to be blue!)
I hope all is well with you guys!
I can’t wait for you and Kumiko to meet Anna and Francis!
I’d love to plan to meet sometime (anything to get out of the house!)
Actually, we joined a “Twins” group here in Funabashi and it meets twice a month!
Oh…Anna is crying … time to wake up.
